What makes SYSTM different?
SYSTM is not just a chair. It’s a tool built to solve some of the biggest problems in the healthcare market.
SYSTM is the first commercial furniture range designed to be:
fully dismantled
thoroughly and hygienically cleaned
reupholstered on-site within minutes.
Crafted from durable wood-look aluminium, SYSTM chairs resist damage and allow for ease of manoeuvrability, making them ideal for busy aged care facilities. Wood-look aluminium extends the lifespan of each chair, reduces the need for replacements, and promotes sustainability while accommodating budget constraints.
Why we made SYSTM
Nothing is more disheartening than seeing brand new, beautifully designed furniture become damaged and soiled within months, even weeks.
Chairs can’t be properly cleaned, so they are not hygienic.
Replacement or reupholstery is often beyond budget.
The result is a less than satisfactory environment for people.
We decided that wasn’t good enough.
Working with industrial designers, university academics, and colleagues
in the healthcare sector, we developed a better solution.
